It's late, as usual. At least I'm consistent.

Just a little insight as to what I am thinking.
I only blog once a week. There are a couple reasons for this.
For starters, I worry that if I tried to write more than once a week then I will have absolutely nothing to say, because my days are rarely so exciting that I need to proclaim their epic-ness to the whole world via my blog.
Secondly, I don't really have a lot of time to write which is why my blogs tend, on average, to be posted on Sundays when I have more time to rest and relax and do whatever.
And lastly, I'm kinda lazy about it. Sorry.
I always want to start off each post with something like:

        --> "Crazy week!"
--> "Wow this week was insane!"
--> "You wouldn't believe how ridiculous this week has been even if I told you, but I'm gunna try to explain anyway!"

For this blog, however, I'm just going to start it off with a shout out. I don't know if I've done that yet, but I'm doing it now dang it!

My shout out is for Madre (aka Sister Wilson) who let me stay at her home for the past 5 days while I found an apartment to live in for the remainder of the spring/summer. Madre, you didn't have to offer to let me stay, but you did and I want you to know that it meant a lot to me that you would do that for me. It was a scary and humbling experience and your kindness made it a lot easier for me to suck it up and do what I needed to do. Thank you so much. So so so much.

(side note: thanks to Eliza too for driving me here there and everywhere as I tried to figure out what the heck I was gunna do. girl, where would I be without you? oh yea, living in a cardboard box . . . we've already established that. love you girl!)

I have moved into Campus Plaza for the spring/summer and I really like it! My roommates are really nice and they all seem pretty cool! I'm excited to get to know the people in my complex better and make new friends! Yay!

ALSO! If you are reading this, stop what you're doing and FOLLOW THIS BLOG and then FOLLOW The Sitch with Eliza and Austi!!! I promise it will only bring you joy and riches if you do so. Ok, I can't promise anything, but with faith anything is possible . . .

At least I tried to add some funnies . . .

I have come to a couple of conclusions people.

1. Climbing.

I LIKE (not love) climbing. This is a sport that I am trying really really hard to like. I really am trying. I don't hate climbing by any means, it's just that I don't understand it all the way yet, which is frustrating. Bruce of course is amazing at climbing. When I go climbing with him (which is not too often, but this past week we went more often than not) I feel like I'm going to play basketball with the Utah Jazz or something and I'm still in Little League. But of course Bruce is very patient and tells me I'm doing good CONSIDERING. Yea, considering I suck haha. But for the record, what I lack in skill I make up for in effort (or at least that's what I tell myself to make me feel better).

2. Mexican Food

No matter what time of day it is, what the weather is like outside, or if you've had Mexican Food every day for the last two weeks, Mexican Food is ALWAYS delicious. It always fills you up (sometimes too full), it always tastes good, and it is generally (depending on what you get) pretty dang affordable. I can eat Mexican Food for breakfast, lunch and dinner and will still crave it the next day. In fact, that's what I did all last week =] LOVE IT!

3. Job Hunting

Looking for a job is really stupid. End of conclusion.

4. Sleep

My sleeping habits are beginning to be a bit of a problem. Ok, they are not beginning to be a problem, they always have been a problem, I'm just finally admitting that maybe the fact that I stay up till 4 and sleep in till 2 is maybe not the best idea. I love sleeping, it's like my favorite part of the day . . . night . . . whatever. It's no secret that I value my sleep. I just realize that I need to get into a normal schedule. I know, what a concept.

5. Cooking

I must learn how to master this skill. So far my cooking skills include MacN'Cheese (and it doesn't even taste that good), PB&J, Cup of Noodles, Cereal, Instant Pudding and Oatmeal. I can't even do Top Ramen good enough that I could put it on my list. I can boil water (only cause I need it to make my hot chocolate . . . ) but that's pretty much it. This must be fixed.

This last week was super fun. I went on a 4day-3night date with Bruce and had way too much fun for my own good. (that was not meant to be suggestive . . . oops). I also applied for a bajillion jobs because I am no longer working at Vivint. Sorry, I just couldn't handle my 3:30pm-12am-every-saturday-and-every-holiday shift. No thank you. But for the record, since I stopped working there I haven't watched any TV unless I was at the Wilson's and we were all watching TV. I'm not laying around being a bum. I'm looking for a job. Just thought I'd make that clear.

ALSO . . . only 8 more days till Eliza and I fly up to Oroville for graduation! YAY!!! Can't wait to see my family and show off my bestie to them. And of course I can't wait to wakeboard on the lake and geocache and visit Canada, and ROAD TRIP back to Utah! Eliza, prepare to have the best weekend ever, it's goin DOWN.

Up Late and Out Late =]

It's been a week, so I know I should post a blog, but I really just don't know what to tell the world that the world doesn't already know! I'm pretty vocal about everything that's goin down in my life, so I really don't think I could share anything that would make anyone keel over in surprise!

Oh, 'cept for the whole boyfriend addition. That's happening =]

Things that are new:

  • I finally hiked the Y (took me long enough!)
  • I get paid on Friday (holla!!)
  • I had to throw away my favorite shoes (suck . . .)
  • I discovered that I love the CHANEL perfume that Claire gave me (score!)
  • My best friend turned 19 ('bout time my dear!)
  • I have almost no social life (maybe that's not so new . . .)
  • I'm not a big fan of fro-yo (too dang expensive, and the stuff tastes weird!)
  • Got claimed as a girlfriend (*insert grin here*)
  • Utah is definitely growing on me (finally!)
That's about all I got. I can't wait to bring ELIZA MARIE to Oroville with me in a couple weeks for Reinna's graduation! We are going to have way too much fun for our own good, I just know it! Watch out SLC and Spokane Airports, we are COMING FOR YOU! And I can't wait to get the little car, I miss the dang thing!

Oh, and of course I can't wait to see my family. I have missed you guys more and more these last couple months, even though I don't really admit it. I feel like I'm missing out on you guys growing up (Reinna and Connelly of course) and I miss talking your ears off every night (mom and dad of course). I can't wait for you guys to meet Eliza, who is basically the best friend anyone could ever dream of having, I know you guys are gunna love her! Don't worry, you'll meet Bruce too, just not this trip, try and be patient!

To Laurel Anne, thank you for giving me rides up the ying-yang these last couple weeks, I don't know where I'd be without you! Oh wait, yea I do, I'd be walking home . . .

I'll try to do more fun things so that I can write an entertaining blog next time. We're about due for one of those . . .

ps. check out my new music! i'm IN LOVE with the first 4 songs on the list!

Right now I AM . . .

I'm sorry it's been a couple weeks!

I'm out of the dorms and enjoying my lack of school work.
I'm working at Vivint in Data Entry.
I'm working out every day! Ok, that's a lie . . .
I'm living off of waffles and hot chocolate because those are the only things I know how to make.
I'm staying up late, and waking up late, and I love it!

I'm starting to remember what it's like to have parents in the house who ask you every detail about your day and want to know everyone that you talked to and then give you their opinion on those people and where are you going later and what are you going to do and how late are you going to be out and how are you getting home and are those people you talk to going to be there and and and . . . I remember that I don't miss that.

I'm getting more and more excited about moving into Campus Plaza with Eliza in the Fall.
I'm starting to consider moving into Campus Plaza this summer as well.
I'm realizing how nice it will be to have my own apartment.
I'm super stoked to get my little car down here in Utah.

I'm freaking out cause my little sister is graduating in June, which means she's not that little anymore.
I'm freaking out cause my little brother just went to his first prom, which means he's not that little anymore either.
I'm freaking out cause I no longer have a social life now that my job has started.
I'm freaking out cause I don't want to miss anything while I'm at work, but I know I will/am.
I'm freaking out cause I'm having a hard time keeping up on my Glee watching . . . just kidding =]

I'm super excited for this summer. So far it's going really well, I'm hoping I can make it even better. I WILL GET A MORNING SHIFT IF IT KILLS ME. But for right now, all I can really say is FETCH (that's for you Bruce).

I'm hoping that those of you who are reading this are having a great start to your spring/summer! I'm missing all of you BYU Cougars! Good luck, more to come . . . just you wait =]
